Brakwater set to turn residential

THE Windhoek City Council has freed up a large swathe of land at Brakwater for subdivision into smaller residential plots and smallholdings of five hectares each, following applications from various owners and occupants.

About 200 hectares of farmland can be subdivided and leased or sold, mainly for residential purposes for Windhoekers who want to move out of the city to enjoy a more rural atmosphere.
