A HEAD-ON collision between a motorcycle and a bakkie in Klein Windhoek on Tuesday evening has claimed two young lives.

The Police announced in their daily crime bulletin on Friday that a case of culpable homicide was being investigated after the crash in which two teenagers, Gavin Martin Bacon (15), from Windhoek, and Lauri Pekka Sakari Repo (17), from Finland, were killed. According to the Police, the two boys died instantly when the motorcycle on which they were riding collided head-on with a Toyota pick-up.The bakkie was moving in a westerly direction along Sam Nujoma Drive in Klein Windhoek, with the boys riding in the direction of Gobabis, when the collision took place at about 21h00.According to the Police, the two boys died instantly when the motorcycle on which they were riding collided head-on with a Toyota pick-up.The bakkie was moving in a westerly direction along Sam Nujoma Drive in Klein Windhoek, with the boys riding in the direction of Gobabis, when the collision took place at about 21h00.
