A boy (6) was struck by a pickup along the B8 Ngoma road in the Mission Compound/Macaravani East area of Katima Mulilo on Wednesday afternoon.
He died at the scene.
Head of community policing in the Zambezi region chief inspector Kisco Sitali says the boy was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by the car.
A case of culpable homicide case has been registered with the police and the boy’s body was transported to Katima Mulilo District Hospital for an autopsy.
“The woman driver is known and has not yet been arrested. The next of kin were informed, while police investigation continues,” Sitali says. – Nampa
