Boy missing after going to buy sweets

The community of Mondesa at Swakopmund is in shock following the disappearance of 13-year-old Enota Kalilo, who is hard of hearing.

This was announced in the weekend crime report by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi.

“Enota was last seen on Thursday, 13 April 2023, at 19h00, after leaving his grandmother’s house to buy sweets at a nearby tuckshop,” she added.

According to Shikwambi, Enota’s grandmother sent him to buy sweets after dinner.

However, when he did not return home, she went searching for him, but without success.

Shikwambi added that Enota’s physical description and what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance have not been provided.

The police are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Enota to contact his grandmother, Katrina Boois at 0816841269, the Mondesa police station, or any nearest police station.
