A 15-year-old boy allegedly took his own own life at Kambumbu, a village in the Tondoro constituency of the Kavango West region, on Saturday.
The incident happened at around 12h45.
Namibian Police chief inspector Elifas Kuwinga said the boy has been identified as Thomas Hairwa.
“The motive is not known, and no suicide note left behind. It is further reported that the deceased had fought with his stepfather on Friday. The fight continued in the morning of Saturday during which the deceased allegedly walked out of the house later and went to take his own life,” Kuwinga said in a crime report.
Hairwa’s next of kin have been informed of his death
