K1, a man of few words indeed. It is however as clear as daylight that the man has that ghetto thing going on and we all knew that sooner or later, the announcement for Kaone to leave the BBA house was to come. I mean if it could happen to Rene and Erastus, even Ms Drama herself Paloma, then who is Kaone not to be evicted? It is a game after all and there can only be one winner.
OK… enough venting for now. The Namibian recently had a chat with K1, who described his revolutionary experience as ‘elevating’. In not so many words, the man himself sums it up for us:How would you sum up your BBA experience? It was entertaining, educating, and personally elevating.Did it come as a surprise or did you expect to be evicted this Sunday?I was expecting it halfway so it was a kind of a 50/50 situation.Kaone, did you smooch anyone in the house? Not really, there were a few pecks here and there but its nothing to write home about. I guess the opportunity never came but then I also didn’t really try. I wasn’t really that into it, but had the opportunity presented itself, I would have definitely gone for it.You grew close to Geraldine while in the house. Were there genuine feelings there or was it just a matter of convenience? It was genuine, I didn’t grow close to anyone else as I did to her. And I do have feelings for her but only as a friend. Do you see a future together once the show is over?Yes, but only as a friend and a business partner because she is going to be my lawyer once the show is over. What was the highlight of your stay in the house?Meeting Keri Hilson, getting that close to her was the killer highlight of my stay in the house. And the lowest point?I don’t really know, always try to keep my head up. There were times when I had arguments with people, but I wouldn’t really refer to them as low points because they were bound to happen. Where people are involved, arguments are bound to happenYou came across as quite mature and level headed. I remember that argument with Hannington and Phil. How did you manage to keep your cool in such situations?I tried to understand and accept that we are all different and that we all come from different backgrounds. Fortunately for me, I have experience when it comes to such situations because I was living in a commune for four years and I am quiet used to dealing with such situations. The best thing is to keep your cool and work around the situation.Have you been to Namibia before or do you know people in Namibia?I haven’t been to Namibia yet, but I have a very close friend whom I believe is working for the UN. She also does arts, music, and events organising. We studied together here in South Africa. Who would you like to walk away as the winner of BBA and why?Elizabeth, because she’s got a very motivating story about her life, or Kevin, as he is also good. I wouldn’t mind if either of the two walks away as the winner. But I think that overall everyone else stands a good chance of winning.Where to from here? What are your future plans?I’m going to go out there and look for a stable job. I am also part of a non-governmental organisation and we plan on going to Namibia soon. I also specialise in fashion so I am going to try and register my fashion business and take it up on a larger scale. I have quite a lot to decide on.Have you found out any interesting things that were said about you by the viewers while in the house?Oh yes, I didn’t know the viewers were so much in love with me. But I haven’t really had the chance to watch the show as much yet but will definitely make time to do so over the course of these days.
