Boetie Defends The Show

WE always give our level best at every show we do.I would like to tell our fans that we are only artists, not organisers.

If the gentlemen does not know the difference between 18h00 and 12h00 or between sound check and the show time, it’s his own kasumba. I also want him to know that it is impossible for five artists to do a show in one hour.Does that mean that our so-called Namibian songs, as he says, only last for a few seconds? It’s impossible.I think you, Mr Kavela, have a personal vendetta against Janice and I.As an artist I am only called to come and perform, we are not the ones to who have to prepare the sound, stage and lighting as well as the cash that is paid at the door. You have to take that up with the organisers.Even if that was true, why do you as a Namibian in love with your Namibian music, criticise in the newspaper and not advise them so they can improve. We as Namibian artists, we love our fans and we will also give the best we can to them.Boetie WindhoekI also want him to know that it is impossible for five artists to do a show in one hour.Does that mean that our so-called Namibian songs, as he says, only last for a few seconds?
