The body of a 24-year-old man was discovered at the Walvis Bay Waterfront on Friday.
According to Erongo police spokesperson chief inspector Ileni Shapumba, an employee of Catamaran charter was busy cleaning along shore when he discovered a body of a male person.
Police attended to the matter and found the deceased with a backpack on his back.
It contained a wallet with documents and a big stone.
The deceased was identified as Bradley Abjatar from Windhoek.
Shapumba says the victim alledgedly left Windhoek on Saturday, 7 September, without communicating where he was going.
He left a message that he would not return.
His next of kin have been informed, and police investigations continue.
