Blues rock guitarist Albert Frost live at the Warehouse

South African Music Awards (Sama) best rock album 2017 winner Albert Frost will be performing live at the Warehouse Theatre on Tuesday, 31 October at 20h00.

Frost is a familiar and respected feature of the South African blues-rock music scene. For the past two decades, his energetic performances have dazzled audiences as he deftly alternates between rhythm and lead, while showcasing acoustic and electric guitars.

His first love is blues, stemming from the influence of his long relationship with The Blues Broers with whom he has performed since 1994.

During this time Frost also toured with Simple Minds and REM, supported the Rolling Stones and has performed with every major South African artist, having recorded with Arno Carstens, Koos Kombuis, Chris Chameleon and many others.

The 2017 Klein Karoo Kunste National Arts Festival (KKNK) has proven again that Frost keeps his admirers captivated and returning for more, earning him a nomination for the Kanna Award for two of his shows.

Tickets for the Windhoek show are available from eventstoday.com.na, Warehouse Theatre, PayToday and Airtime City Kiosks. –
