Black Vulcanite on Djolo’s Top Music of 2014 list

Hip-hop act Black Vulcanite’s hit single ‘Big Egos’ featuring South African songstress Ruby Burton made it on to French web-magazine Djolo’s Top Music of 2014 list.

Described as “carrying the flag of Namibia high in the international rap game,” the trio consisting of Nikolai ‘Okin’ Tjongarero, Mark Mushiva and Alain ‘AliThatDude’ Villet have been included alongside top African artists such as Yemi Alade and Iyanya.

Black Vulcanite have indeed wowed the masses since dropping their EP ‘Remember The Future’ in 2012, after clinching a deal with South African record label Rude World Records. This year the trio is expected to release their debut album which many fans have been eagerly anticipating.
