Former world trap champion Karsten Bindrich from Germany clinched the international clay pigeon shooting contest between a Namibian Invitational Team and their German counterparts at Oropoko Lodge, 60km out of Okahandja, on Saturday.
The softly-spoken German shottist, who finished a remarkable third in last year’s World Championships, hit a target of 23 points from a possible 25, which really proves that he is polishing up his skills for the upcoming World Championships which the Germans are going to use to qualify for the Olympics.
