EISH people, I’ve been confined to the corner today! The forces of cultural imperialism think that we – BBA nation people – are ‘defective’.

S’true!! They’re snapping at my heels like neocons who can’t find their weapons of mass destruction! But believe me I’m not sitting here with my tail between my legs. It’s a strategic retreat 🙂 Just a short update for now.First some not-so-good news if you were hoping to hook up with some of your favourites: the ‘Untouchables’ have been and gone! Ouch, I know.I feel you.So if you didn’t catch them around Windhoek on Thursday night or in the North over the weekend that’s it.For now, anyway.Even I missed out.And, hella, I especially brought my cappuccino machine to work in case Bertha popped by.Aitsa! Kwaku, Max, Lerato and Bertha flew out of the country on Sunday night after a whirlwind visit to the North.Meryl is reportedly back in town.The latest is that she and some of the ‘Untouchables’ are likely to be heading to Ghana soon for a visit.And sorry Richiana fans, no news today.Meanwhile, The Vanguard in Nigeria reports that M-Net has apologised to the Nigerian government “over some sexually offensive video clips” on Big Brother Africa 2.The clips relate to THAT infamous Saturday afternoon in the BBA house involving Tanzanian Richard, Nigeria’s Ofunneka and Angolan Tatiana.”Joseph Hunda, Director, Africa Operations for M-Net, made the apology while briefing the House of Representatives Committee on Information and National Orientation on some of the immoral scenes on the show,” according to The Vanguard.Hunda reportedly admitted that some images shown were unacceptable to many Nigerians.According to the report, M-Net was also fined 10 million naira (US$8,4m) by Nigeria’s TV regulator.Officials of MultiChoice reportedly met with a Nigerian parliamentary group on November 22, according to Rapid TV News.It’s a strategic retreat 🙂 Just a short update for now.First some not-so-good news if you were hoping to hook up with some of your favourites: the ‘Untouchables’ have been and gone!
