LONDON – George Best’s family were maintaining a bedside vigil yesterday as the football legend remained unconscious and fighting for his life in intensive care.

Best has been visited by his father, sisters, brothers and son as he struggles to survive on a life support machine in London’s Cromwell Hospital.
