Incredible illustrator of ‘Jahohora and First Day,’ spontaneous Spoken Word poet and the kind of artist who exhibits ‘Return of the Fundi’ in July and ‘A Fundi’s Freedom is War’ just three months later, Romeo Sinkala is a productive visual artist with a focus on fantastic African characters suggesting many mythical and sage stories.

My wife, Ute Sinkala. She’s doing a lot for young Namibian women as a young psychologist – she gives back to the community by giving radio and TV interviews.

Jacques Mushaandja. His music is so fresh, nothing is as modern as Tschuku Tschuku music. But also traditional … It’s just redefining music.

Solidarity tax and then hearing about the ministers’ pay rise. I was like “Schlettwein’s a funny guy”.
2015’s biggest fool?
Opposition parties. They say very little or do very little to create some dialogue.
Favourite slang

“Ntja!” Never gets old. (But then again, I’m old school.)
Winning the 2015 Cosafa Cup.
2015 taught me… To love what I do. Learn outside one’s comfort zone and build creative friendship connections.
