Brave Warriors head coach Collin Benjamin has announced a 33-man provisional squad of local players for the upcoming Fifa Series tournament held in Kazakhstan.
The International Federation of Football Associations (Fifa) series will take place in March and April.
The event is an invitational tournament promoted by the world football governing body and features friendly matches between national teams from different confederations.
Introduced as a competitive international friendly format, the series brings together four national teams in a single host country.
Each participating team will play two official international matches, providing meaningful competition while allowing coaches the opportunity to assess players and fine-tune tactical approaches.
This year’s edition will feature 48 national teams, competing across 12 groups of four teams each.
Namibia has been drawn alongside Kuwait, Comoros, and hosts Kazakhstan.
Benjamin announced a strong squad this week, based on home players who have shown the qualities he wants to deploy among the national team going forward.
