TWO armed robberies were reported at Walvis Bay on Friday.On Wednesday night at 23h35, Lucas Kahupi was held at gunpoint by four unknown suspects at his bar at Kuisebmund.

The robbers stole N$1194.50, 100 recharge voucher cards, and three bottles of wine. No arrests have been made and the Police investigation continues.* The second incident happened at a bar in Narraville on Thursday morning at 02h45.Eight suspects held the bartender at gun-point, robbing her of a cellphone, a number of Tango recharge vouchers and N$3 500 in cash.They then shot the owner of the bar, Peter van Reenen, in the head.He was admitted to the Welwitschia Hospital, and by Friday was said to be in a stable condition.No arrests have been made and the Police investigation continues.* The second incident happened at a bar in Narraville on Thursday morning at 02h45.
