Bank Windhoek has appointed Loini Eelu as its new Outapi branch manager effective from 12 October.
Bank Windhoek’s executive, James Chapman, made the announcement, saying Eelu will be accountable for the Outapi branch and its sub-branches at Oshifo and Opuwo.
Eelu started working at the bank in 2006 as an enquiries clerk at the Ondangwa branch.
Over the years, she grew her banking operations proficiency as she worked as a teller, then to credit sphere as a credit clerk and then became a senior credit officer.
In 2015 Eelu transferred to the Omaruru branch as its credit manager until her recent appointment.
She has completed several advanced bank-related training and management courses, including the Capricorn Group Management Development Programme (MDP), facilitated by the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
Eelu also holds a bachelor of technology in business administration from the Namibia University of Science and Technology and is currently enrolled for a master’s of business administration at the University of South Wales.
Chapman says with Eelu’s vast experience, especially in the credit domain, the bank is confident she will add exceptional value to her new role as its Outapi branch manager.
