Back To School

CAN the Namibian Government please give me a second chance to go back to school and re-do my history, because obviously I was not paying any attention in class, which must be the reason for not remembering that Mr Sam Nujoma was the founding father of the nation.

According to the Prime Minister, ‘founding’ means that Mr Nujoma discovered Namibia and I do not agree with that. It is true that he contributed to our independence and has been rewarded for that in many ways that many former African heads of state have not had.Like Gwen Lister said in her column, what else is in store for this man and what will be Mr Hifikepunye Pohamba’s reward?
