PARIS – Brazilian star Ronaldinho retained his Fifpro player of the 2005/06 season award on Monday, the players’ union announced.
Ronaldinho was integral to Barcelona’s winning of the domestic title and the Champions League trophy last term, but his performances have tailed off since, especially at the World Cup finals where Brazil exited in the quarter-finals.
