Audrin Mathe bids farewell to communication technology

Ministry of Information and Communication Technology executive director Audrin Mathe has said his goodbyes to the ministry.

Mathe was on Wednesday transferred to the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations in the same role.

“Dear colleagues, as my tenure as executive director of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology draws to a close, I write to inform you that Thursday, 31 July, will mark my final day in this role. I am called upon to embrace new challenges that await me,” Mathe on Wednesday said.

He described his tenure at the information ministry, where he was appointed on 1 August 2022 as remarkable, stating that he worked alongside dedicated and talented professionals.

“The commitment, expertise and unwavering dedication each of you brings to our mission has been truly inspiring. Together, we have achieved significant milestones and made meaningful contributions. I am immensely proud of the work we have accomplished together and the continued excellence you demonstrate in serving the information and communication technology sector,” Mathe said.

“As I prepare to answer the call to service elsewhere, I do so with confidence in the strength of this institution and the exceptional team that will continue to carry forward our vital mission. The foundation we have built together is solid and I have no doubt that the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology will continue to thrive and make a lasting difference in the world.

“While this marks the end of one chapter, I will always carry with me the memories of our shared achievements and the honour of having served alongside such remarkable colleagues. Thank you for your dedication, your professionalism and your friendship.”
