Are Only Black People Heroes?

I AM a black Namibian and would like to know/hear more about the Heroes Acre.

I have two questions to ask: The first question is: which heroes should be buried in the Heroes Acre? The 2nd question is: Is the Heroes Acre meant for blacks only? Anton Lubowski was assassinated because he was a Swapo member, he was killed on 12 September 1989 before Comrade President Sam Shafishuna Nujoma arrived in Windhoek from exile.He was assassinated while coming from a Swapo meeting (correct me if I’m wrong).The way I see it is that: Anton did a lot of work for this country, but isn”t any of that good enough for him to be amongst the rest of the “Heroes”?This I think will be a good for the history of Namibians if he is with those laid to rest at Heroes’ Acre.If Anton was killed because of his dedication, the fact is that he died for the freedom of Namibia like the rest of the Heroes, so why do we have to betray his blood? Another point is: ever since I was young and even before I knew what Swapo was, I remember singing about Kahumba Kandola being mistreated in prison as well as Nathanael Maxuilili under house arrest in Walvis Bay.So now I’m confused as to who really are the Heroes in the Land of the brave?Ndeshipewa KA.
