The National United Democratic Organisation’s (Nudo) Ingashipola Lucas has resigned from the party.
This is contained in a letter to current Nudo secretary general Joseph Uapingene dated 30 April
Not long ago, former party secretary general Joseph Kauandenge also resigned from his position.
“It is with deep reflection and a heavy heart that I write to formally tender my resignation from Nudo, effective 30 April. Additionally, I
hereby withdraw my candidacy for the upcoming regional and local authority elections scheduled for November,” says the letter.
Lucas became a member of Nudo in 2021, motivated by a strong belief in the party’s mission and its potential to bring about meaningful change in communities.
His decision to resign is due to cultural shock and ongoing internal conflicts that have made it increasingly difficult for him to serve effectively.
These challenges have taken a personal toll on him and have led him to conclude that stepping away is in the best interest of both himself and the party.
