Another Faction In The Making?

DEMOCRACY in Namibia allows one to establish a political party, among other things.

Jesaya Nyamu exercised his democratic right to do just that, form a political party. There are however many questions that need answering, such as; why did Mr Nyamu decide to for a new party? If there were issues that he was not happy with in Swapo and Government, why didn’t he raise them? Is this political party genuinely formed to contest the ruling party, or is it merely formed to create political jobs? Swapo has in the past elections won by overwhelming majority.DTA had once upon a time proved to be a strong contender, but it is not as strong as it used to be.My point here is, with the formation of too many political parties comes serious fragmentation of votes, which thankfully only seems to affect opposition parties and hardly puts a dent in Swapo’s votes.I for one foresee another CoD in the making, a party which will sooner or later experience factions.Hamukoto Pohamba Via e-mailThere are however many questions that need answering, such as; why did Mr Nyamu decide to for a new party?
