Amta, Nipam partner for food security

The Agro Marketing and Trade Agency (Amta) and the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (Nipam) have signed an agreement to promote food safety and security.

Nipam marketing and business development manager Johaness Hatutale says the partnership represents the two enterprises’ shared vision of building a sustainable, efficient and responsive public institution that contributes to the country’s national development goals.

Amta will supply fresh produce to Nipam, and in return the institute will provide training and consultations to facilitate Amta’s staff development.

The agreement supports joint research initiatives, operational efficiency and knowledge exchanges.

A joint technical committee will be established to oversee the implementation of collaborative projects and drive innovation.
