Agronomic Board gets new member

CABINET announced yesterday that it had approved the appointment of Anna Erasmus, representing consumers of controlled agronomic products, to the Agronomic Board of Namibia.

Erastus replaces the late Erica Ramakhutla who passed away in April last year. She will serve on the Board for three years effective from April 1 this year.Cabinet also instructed Finance Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila to table several reports of the Auditor General in Parliament.These include the Bank of Namibia Annual Report for 2003 and fourth quarterly bulletin; Accounts of the Department of Transport in the Ministry of Works ending March 2001; Accounts of the National Assembly ending March 2001; Accounts of the Municipality of Otavi ending June 2001, finances of the Agronomic Board of Namibia for 2002-3; and the financial report on the performance of the Keetmanshoop Municipality for the year ended June 2003.She will serve on the Board for three years effective from April 1 this year.Cabinet also instructed Finance Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila to table several reports of the Auditor General in Parliament.These include the Bank of Namibia Annual Report for 2003 and fourth quarterly bulletin; Accounts of the Department of Transport in the Ministry of Works ending March 2001; Accounts of the National Assembly ending March 2001; Accounts of the Municipality of Otavi ending June 2001, finances of the Agronomic Board of Namibia for 2002-3; and the financial report on the performance of the Keetmanshoop Municipality for the year ended June 2003.
