AfricaOnline, Vox Orion to package business internet

AFRICAONLINE Namibia and Vox Orion have agreed to provide business internet connectivity to Vox Orion customers from the beginning of October.

The suite of services will include AfricaOnline Linux products, managed ADSL, WiMax, leased lines, VPN’s, mail servers, on and off site back up, synchronization, disk mirroring and disaster recovery solutions.’It’s a win-win situation for all, including Vox Orion customers,’ said AfricaOnline general manager Marc Gregan. ‘Now that internet connectivity is pervasive in enterprise, the focus has to shift to remaining current and continuous. The combination of Vox Orion and AfricaOnline gives business that ability, from video calling to connectivity, to ensuring that business ICT systems are secure and backed-up.’Vox Orion director Andrew Hall said: ‘It makes sense to add data products to our voice and PABX packages. We operate in a technology driven environment and this partnership with AfricaOnline signals our intent to deliver quality voice and data products to the market.’’Vox Orion and AfricaOnline both focus on technology that ensures the productivity and continuity of business. Both companies emphasise managed environments to ensure continuity, so the relationship fits like a glove.’
