Adults vs The Youth

The youth is the elite group in society that will build and sustain a country, after adults go into a phase of retirement.

Thus, prominent bodies such as parents and teachers ought to be aware of the significant role they play in the lives of youngsters.

Many young people are faced with day-to-day problems. Some live in fear and some don’t see the full potential they can exhibit. This is at times caused by teachers who answer pupils in a bad manner when they ask questions in class. This then results in the pupil being scared to ask questions or lacking in confidence to express themselves. The pupil lets the fear of losing become greater than the excitement of winning. This then means the pupil comes to a point of limiting themselves. They concern themselves with what others may say if they fail. Parents and teachers therefore should urge the youth to have the freedom to express themselves, as this gives them confidence in their school work.

Some pupils are also prone to bottle up their problems and this in some instances is due to the background they come from. Being shouted at can weigh heavily on young people and this also changes their perspective about life in general. So, it’s important that parents and teachers use the correct approach to cater for the well-being and academic performances of pupils.
