Actor and producer Shona Ferguson dies

UNWRAP.ONLINEActor and producer Shona Ferguson, known for popular television series such as ‘Generations’ and ‘The Queen’, has died, according to Media 24.

Ferguson died at the age of 47 at Milpark private hospital in Johannesburg on Friday afternoon, after he had reportedly been admitted there last week due to chest pains.

The Batswana actor started his acting career as Ace on the South African TV series ‘Generations’.

He later starred as Itumeleng on M-Net soap opera ‘The Wild’, from 2011 to 2013.

Along with his wife, Connie Ferguson, he established Ferguson Films, and both starred in their film production company’s first series, ‘Rockville’.

He also starred in 2014’s ‘The Gift’, a Ferguson Films series, and currently stars as Jerry Maake on ‘The Queen’, also a Ferguson Films series that started in 2016.
