JOHANNESBURG – A baby girl who was born earlier this month with four legs in South Africa has died following an operation to amputate two of her limbs, a health official said yesterday.
The girl, who was born near the northeastern town of Polokwane, died late last week ‘following complications in her stomach after the operation’, provincial health department spokesperson Phuti Seloba told AFP.
