Suspected Swakop poachers out on bail

SWAKOPMUND residents Hendrik Fourie (49) and Lewis Odendaal (28) appeared in the town’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday on charges of illegal hunting and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The two were arrested on Tuesday evening after they were found in possession of three springbok carcasses that they had allegedly poached just north of Swakopmund.
