Alleged housebreaker in city shot dead by resident

THE Police are investigating a case of murder against a Windhoek resident after he shot two alleged housebreakers on Friday morning, Police spokesperson Sergeant Stephan Nuuyi reported yesterday.

The Police reported that at around 11h30 on Friday, a couple who arrived at the house of an acquaintance found the front door broken open.
