ITC Senior Market Analyst Michael Freudenberg said this in Windhoek on Tuesday at the beginning of a three-day seminar on how businesses can use market-analysis tools to effectively access markets. Freudenberg told public and private sector executives that African countries should add value to their products, cut dependency on commodities, and offer technology-based products and services to capture the global market. The training is expected to help Namibian businesses assess dynamics, benchmark the country’s sectoral performance, identify contacts, understand world demand and analyse trade flows for market positioning. The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) organised the training workshop with support from ITC, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).The Dutch Government funded the seminar, which ends today.- NampaFreudenberg told public and private sector executives that African countries should add value to their products, cut dependency on commodities, and offer technology-based products and services to capture the global market. The training is expected to help Namibian businesses assess dynamics, benchmark the country’s sectoral performance, identify contacts, understand world demand and analyse trade flows for market positioning. The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) organised the training workshop with support from ITC, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).The Dutch Government funded the seminar, which ends today.- Nampa
