Econet buys Altech out of JV

JOHANNESBURG – South African IT firm Allied Technologies’ has sold its interest in a joint venture with Econet Wireless Group for US$87,5 million (N$568,75 million), the company said yesterday.

Altech said the two companies had also agreed to settle all disputes between them by waiving any claims they had against each other.
