A SOUTH African who has been working on the Hollywood movie, ‘The Flight of the Phoenix’, was arrested last week Sunday and charged with drunken driving and defeating the cause of justice.

The Police reported that Storm Dazel (31) drove into a robot at the Shoprite crossing at Swakopmund at 04h00. He allegedly did not co-operate with the Police and was arrested.He appeared in court last Monday and was released on N$5 000 bail.Dazel’s passport was confiscated and the case was postponed until today.He was apparently supposed to have left for South Africa last Monday.A big farewell party was held at the Swakopmund Airport last Saturday night after the filming of the Hollywood feature film wrapped up in the last week of February.He allegedly did not co-operate with the Police and was arrested.He appeared in court last Monday and was released on N$5 000 bail.Dazel’s passport was confiscated and the case was postponed until today.He was apparently supposed to have left for South Africa last Monday.A big farewell party was held at the Swakopmund Airport last Saturday night after the filming of the Hollywood feature film wrapped up in the last week of February.
