Man accuses wife of beating him

A MAN at Akwanambue village near Okatope has charged his wife with assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Naftal Andreas says his wife inflicted serious injuries to his head at around 03h00 on Sunday, the Police reported yesterday. The suspect has not yet been arrested.* The Wanaheda Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a woman at around 21h30 on Saturday.The woman, whose age and name have not been released, was shot in the left upper arm with a pistol.The incident took place in Ottawa Street in Windhoek’s Otjomuise suburb.* Police at Ruacana have opened an inquest into the death of a 52-year-old man at Otjaandjamenyo village in northern Namibia.Matheus Bartholomeus was found dead at his homestead at around 16h00 on Friday.The suspect has not yet been arrested. * The Wanaheda Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old man with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a woman at around 21h30 on Saturday.
