An Ohangwena man allegedly slit his girlfriend’s throat before taking his own life on Tuesday.
The incident occurred at Omudaungilo at around 07h00.
Ohangwena crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Zacharias Amakali, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect, Nestory Nevela (39), slit Peneyambeko Homboleni’s (30) throat.
Police discovered their remains after receiving a suicide report.
