ASCHAFFENBURG – A 64-year-old woman has given birth to a girl in the Bavarian town of Aschaffenburg, making her one of the oldest mothers in Europe, doctors said yesterdayday.

Both mother and child were reported in good health, following the delivery of the baby by caesarian section in a local clinic on Thursday.
