BERLIN – A staggering 14.8 million fans watched Germany’s seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher’s final race at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday, German television broadcaster RTL said yesterday.
The 37-year-old Schumacher had revealed his decision to retire in Monza and German Formula One fans watched on as their hero, the son of a bricklayer from Kerpen, brought down the curtain on his career.
