FOURTEEN people died unnatural deaths over the past three days, the Police report.
* In Windhoek, a man was found dead in a riverbed in Okuryangava. He was apparently stabbed to death.Nobody has been arrested.* Leon de Villiers (43) died when his motorcycle crashed on the road between Gobabis and Windhoek on Sunday.He was returning to Windhoek after the Live to Ride Motorcycle Club’s annual President’s Run to Gobabis.* Gerald Jankowski of Windhoek West died on Sunday when a truck he was repairing ran over him.* James Rean (25) died when he fell from a moving truck along the Trans-Caprivi highway on Saturday.* Three people died when a bakkie overturned on the road between Gobabis and Aminuis on Saturday.They have been identified as Mosimano Hilde Malkgamtso (28), Arnold Makabanyane (49) and Charles Mantjies (33).* At Keetmanshoop, the body of a newborn baby was found wrapped in a plastic bag behind the school hostel.* Johannes Gariseb (57) of Rehoboth was stabbed to death in a quarrel on Sunday.A 37-year-old suspect has been arrested.* Police at Outapi are investigating a murder case in which a 72-year-old man was stabbed to death, allegedly by his wife.* Also in the North, Thomas Jerobeam (28) and Jonas Kaukungwa (55) died when their car hit a cow and overturned along the Oshivelo-Ondangwa main road.* An eight-month-old baby burnt to death in Onyaanya.He was apparently stabbed to death.
