THE 2008 Bank Windhoek Central Zone Gymnastics Championship will be held in Windhoek this weekend.
It will be the first qualifier for the Namibia Gymnastics Federation (NGF) national championships later this year in Windhoek. The Central Zone Championships will be hosted by Excelsior Gymnastics Club and will take place on Friday and Saturday in Hall B at the Showgrounds.A total of 163 gymnasts, aged between 6-17 years from Level 1 to Senior Olympic of Excelsior Gymnastics Club, SKW Academy and Crete Gymnastics Club will be in action.The MAG (Men’s Artistic Gymnastics) competition will start today at 14h00.Prize-giving will be at 20h40.On Saturday, the WAG (Women’s Artistic Gymnastics) competition will start at 08h50.Prize-giving will be at 18h30 for Level 3 to Senior Olympic.Entry fee for adults is N$5, but it will be free for scholars and children.The Central Zone Championships will be hosted by Excelsior Gymnastics Club and will take place on Friday and Saturday in Hall B at the Showgrounds.A total of 163 gymnasts, aged between 6-17 years from Level 1 to Senior Olympic of Excelsior Gymnastics Club, SKW Academy and Crete Gymnastics Club will be in action.
