A taxi which was driving towards Khomasdal along Florence Nightingale Street yesterday allegedly jumped a red traffic light and crashed into another car crossing over from the Western Bypass.
The impact landed the taxi on the pavement, while the other car came to a standstill in Florence Nightingale Street. Both drivers were rushed to hospital for treatment. On Saturday night, two women died in a head-on collision not far from this accident scene.
