World Wetlands Day marked at Walvis

ON World Wetland Day which was celebrated last month, seven coastal schools took part in a competition organised for the fifth year by the Coastal Environmental Trust of Namibia.

The event kicked off with a talk by the Walvis Bay Municipality’s Environmental Officer, Olavi Makuti, about the Municipality’s monitoring of tides and silting in the lagoon.
