AFTER a braai with some friends last weekend, a Rehoboth man allegedly almost killed his girlfriend by hitting her with his car.
Rachel van Wyk spent a few days in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a Windhoek hospital after she was allegedly hit by her boyfriend’s car.The boyfriend, Johannes Adolf Rittman (34), was arrested on charges of attempted murder, driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless and negligent driving.He made a brief appearance in the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court last week.Rittman’s case was postponed to September 19. He was released on bail of N$5 000.
