A WOMAN died outside Windhoek yesterday when a truck she had been a passenger in overturned.
The driver is said to have lost control over the truck near Aris between Rehoboth and Windhoek. The female passenger was killed instantly.According to the acting Khomas regional crime investigation coordinator, Chief Inspector Fabian Musweu, the woman’s identity is yet to be determined. ‘I think the driver might be able to provide clues,’ he said.The driver appeared to have escaped the accident unharmed, eyewitnesses said. Musweu said the South African-registered truck belonged to AP Hauliers. According to him, both the driver and the deceased are Namibian.No further details were available by yesterday afternoon.
