Woman dies from alcohol poisoning

A 41-year-old woman, Wilhelmina Witbeen of Wanaheda, died after drinking suspected poisoned beer at a shebeen, the Police reported on Monday.

Eyewitnesses said she died on her way to Katutura Hospital on Sunday evening. * Peter Feihle Kambona (28), also from Wanaheda, hanged himself on the same day.* The Police also reported that an unidentified Windhoek man died when he was hit by a speeding Toyota Corolla, N101 151W, at the intersection of Independence Avenue and the Western Bypass on Saturday evening.The driver of the Toyota Corolla sped from the scene.* Peter Feihle Kambona (28), also from Wanaheda, hanged himself on the same day.* The Police also reported that an unidentified Windhoek man died when he was hit by a speeding Toyota Corolla, N101 151W, at the intersection of Independence Avenue and the Western Bypass on Saturday evening.The driver of the Toyota Corolla sped from the scene.
