I AM a little confused and need help from my motherland, Namibia. I want to know who is the youth and who should lead the youth?
I believe a youth leader should relate to issues and activities that affect the young on a daily basis, things that they encounter and do on daily basis. Take a look at this scenario. A Namibian male, aged 45 years, being a youth leader, fathered a beautiful girl while at school at age 18. This little girl has now grown into a beautiful and successful businesswoman and she is also a proud mother of two boys. Mind you, she is now 27 years of age. Now who should be the youth leader here, the grandfather of 42 years or his daughter of 27 years? I am totally confused and need help from the wise. When does one move on from toddler to teen and to youth and adulthood? Kamurongo KamuzanduVia e-mailNote: A very good and frequently asked question. Let’s hear it from the NYC, youth movements and political youth leagues! – Ed
