I WANT to register my disappointment with the way certain appointments are handled.
It is public knowledge that a cabinet submission was made recommending Cde Hinda as new CEO of Agribank. There are few ladies in this country who could match her contribution. Is it tested and loyal leaders we are looking for and is this only [reserved] for some people? In most cases, if not all, every rumour that goes around as to which one is the preferred candidate, normally proves to be true.A few examples: The position of Prosecutor General was rumoured to be for Miss Imalwa and she got it.The position of Auditor General was rumoured for Kanjeke and he got it.Rumours have it that the CEO position at Agribank is earmarked for Ms Anna Shigwedha or Mr Njame the acting CEO.The big question is: Why does it take so long for Cde Hinda to be appointed? We all know somebody is currently acting in the position.Eventually the position will be given to him quietly.Fellow Namibians let’s be fair to each other and share the national cake equally.Note: Name and address supplied – Ed.There are few ladies in this country who could match her contribution. Is it tested and loyal leaders we are looking for and is this only [reserved] for some people?
