Hans Afrikaner, who’s lived at Spitzkoppe all his life, told The Namibian on Wednesday that water from a borehole provided by the Trekkopje Uranium Mine will bring new life to his community.
He is a ‘community policeman’ and also manages the Spitzkoppe Cultural Group. Here he holds up a bottle of fresh water, which the uranium company handed out to all the residents at an event to mark the bore hole coming on tap.
