THE 28th edition of the DTS Volleyball For All tournament is scheduled for the first Saturday of February.
The organisers of the popular annual event announced yesterday that men, mixed teams – a category normally reserved non-volleyball players, as well as U/13 and U/15 mini volleyball participants, should register before January 28. The tournament takes place on February 5.’Please hurry up to avoid disappointment as only 180 teams can enter,’ said chief organiser Karin Curschmann .A total of 204 teams (24 Men and 180 Mixed Teams) turned out at the DTS club premises for the previous edition. Other than prizes for the best volleyball playing teams, the organisers have traditionally reserved special prizes for the best-dressed teams, sportiest team, best organized team etc. The day, as usual, is expected to be fun filled and is seen by many as an opportunity for team building right at the beginning of the year and kids can enjoy themselves on the jumping castle.
