Uukwambi authority takes on deforestation

ETOPE – The Uukwambi Traditional Authority says it will not tolerate the chopping down of trees, which is destroying the environment and causing deforestation in the area.

Chairperson of the Uukwambi Traditional Authority, Chief Herman Iipumbu, said this on the occasion of National Arbour Day, which was marked at Etope Combined School in the Omusati Region over the weekend.
